Coins unlock chapters and premium novels. You earn them inside the app — by watching rewarded ads, checking in daily, keeping a reading streak, and completing quests and achievements. There are daily limits on how much you can earn. Coins cannot be bought in this version of Novo, and they have no cash value.
The reward is granted when the ad finishes and our server confirms it. If the ad was closed early, or the connection dropped part-way, nothing is granted. If you’ve hit the daily earning cap, further ads won’t add coins until the cap resets. If neither applies, email us with the approximate time it happened.
Ads are what keep Novo free. Rewarded ads are always optional — you choose to watch one for coins or an unlock. On iOS you’ll be asked whether Novo may use your advertising identifier; declining changes nothing about what you can read or earn, it only makes the ads less relevant. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Progress, library and coins are tied to your account, not your phone, and sync when you’re online. Make sure you’re signed in with the same method you used originally — an email account and a Google or Apple sign-in with the same address are still two different accounts if they were created separately.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. If the reset mail doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder, then email us. If you originally signed up with Google or Apple, you have no password — use that button instead.
Tap the menu on any review or comment to report it with a reason, or to block its author so you stop seeing their posts. Blocked readers are listed under Profile → Settings → Blocked accounts. We review reports and act within 24 hours. For anything urgent, email us directly.
Profile → Settings → Notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device only — nothing is sent from a server.
Profile → Settings → Delete account, or use our account deletion page if you’ve already uninstalled the app. Deletion is permanent, and unspent coins are forfeited.
Chapters are downloaded when you open them, so a weak connection can leave one blank. Pull to refresh, or close and reopen the novel. If it persists on a good connection, tell us which novel and chapter.
